Wooden Saraswati with Arch – Hand Painted Saraswati Playing Veena under Parrot Arch

Description

This Wooden Saraswati with Arch, also called Saraswathi, is carved from wood and painted by hand. The Goddess sits on a red lotus and plays the veena. Behind her is a rich carved arch with curling leaves, fruits and two green parrots. She wears a colourful crown with a halo, a green necklace, red and gold jewellery, a green blouse and a yellow and white dhoti. The bright colours and the fine carving make this idol stand out in any room.

The idol sits on a strong carved base with colourful lotus petals. Place it in your pooja room, study room, living room or office table. Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge, music and learning, so this idol is a lovely gift for students, teachers and music lovers. It is also a perfect gift for housewarming, Saraswati Pooja and festival days.

Since it is handmade, small changes in carving and paint are natural and add to its charm.
