Description
This Child Ganesha Statue shows Lord Ganesha as a sweet little boy, sitting calmly between two soft cream pillows on a purple cushion. He has curly black hair tied in a small bun with a jewel on top, big kind eyes and a gentle smile. He wears a bright yellow dhoti, an orange angavastram with a silver border, and golden jewellery. He has four hands, and one hand holds a white modak, his favourite sweet. His feet rest on a small green footstool, and a little white mouse (Mooshika), his vehicle, sits near the base. The cushion is placed on a neat wooden platform with golden corner designs.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped first in every pooja, for a good start, wisdom and removal of problems. The cute child look makes this statue a favourite for the pooja room, living room, study table or a baby’s room. It is a lovely gift for Vinayagar Chaturthi, housewarming, birthday and baby celebrations.
Since it is handmade, small changes in paint and finish are natural and add to its charm.
