Description
This Brass Balaji Diya is a handcrafted brass oil lamp, also called Tirupati Balaji Lamp or Venkateswara Perumal Vilakku. The face of Lord Balaji stands at the top with the holy Namam on the forehead and a tall crown. On both sides, hands lift up the Sangu (conch) and the Chakra (discus). Goddess Lakshmi sits below on a lotus seat. A deep bowl in front holds oil or ghee, and the front point holds the wick. The round base has fine carving and a bead border.
The golden brass looks bright and gives a calm, pure feel to your pooja room. Light it on Saturdays, Purattasi month, Vaikunta Ekadashi, Diwali and festival days. It is also a lovely gift for housewarming and wedding.
Since it is handmade, small changes in finish and carving are natural and add to its charm.

Care Tip: Wash with warm water and a soft cloth. To bring back the shine, rub gently with tamarind or lemon and wash again. Dry well before keeping.
