Description
This Brass Shankh Diya is a handcrafted brass oil lamp shaped like a holy conch (Shankh), also called Sangu Deepam. The conch is a holy sign in Hindu pooja. The deep inside holds oil or ghee, and the narrow front end holds the wick. Fine bead and leaf carving runs along the edge and the body. The round stand below is carved with flower and leaf design, so the diya stands steady.
The golden brass looks bright and gives a warm, pure feel to your pooja room. Light it for daily pooja, Karthigai Deepam, Diwali, Vinayagar Chaturthi and festival days. It is also a lovely gift for housewarming, wedding and Navaratri.
Since it is handmade, small changes in finish and carving are natural and add to its charm.

Care Tip: Wash with warm water and a soft cloth. To bring back the shine, rub gently with tamarind or lemon and wash again. Dry well before keeping.
