Description
This Brass Sangu Chakra Vilakku Set is a pair of handcrafted brass lamps, also called Shankh Chakra Vilakku. The Sangu (conch) and the Chakra (discus) are the two holy signs of Lord Vishnu (Perumal). The Sangu lamp has a shining conch on top, and the Chakra lamp has a round Chakra with a flower design on top. Both lamps have deep diya bowls with spouts for the wick, a carved stand with lotus petal design and a round base, so they stand firm.
Place the two lamps on both sides of your Perumal photo or idol in the pooja room. Fill the bowls with oil or ghee and light them for daily pooja, Saturdays, Vaikunta Ekadashi, Karthigai Deepam and festival days. The pair is also a lovely gift for housewarming and wedding.
Since it is handmade, small changes in finish and carving are natural and add to its charm.

Care Tip: Wash with warm water and a soft cloth. To bring back the shine, rub gently with tamarind or lemon and wash again. Dry well before keeping.
