Wooden Kamakshi Amman Statue – Hand Painted Kamatchi Amman with Parrot and Sugarcane

Description

This Wooden Kamakshi Amman Statue, also called Kamatchi Amman, is carved from wood and painted by hand. Kamakshi Amman is the Goddess of Kanchipuram. She sits on a pink lotus throne with four hands. A green parrot sits on a lotus bud in one hand and she holds a sugarcane in another. She wears a gold crown with a blue and orange halo, rich gold jewellery and a bright green dress with yellow dots. The bright colours and the fine carving make this idol stand out in any room.

The statue sits on a strong carved base with colourful lotus petals. Place it in your pooja room, living room or entrance. It is a lovely gift for housewarming, Navaratri, Fridays and festival days.

Since it is handmade, small changes in carving and paint are natural and add to its charm.
